Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions of access and use of the Riplay platform, accessible at riplay.app, published by Lorenzer.

Registration on Riplay implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms. If you disagree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Riplay is a free web platform for video game collectors (retro and physical). It allows users to:

• Create and manage a personal collection of games, consoles, and accessories
• Record the condition, completeness, region, and purchase price of each item
• View community prices based on user declarations
• Track collection value evolution via a dashboard
• Export collections in CSV or PDF format
• Report incorrect cover art

3. Registration and User Account

Access to Riplay features requires creating an account, either through the registration form (email and password) or via Google OAuth.

Users commit to providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration. They are solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and all activity on their account.

One account per person is allowed. Users must be at least 15 years old to create an account. Users under 15 must obtain consent from their legal guardian.

4. Use of the Service

Users commit to:

• Using Riplay in accordance with its purpose (video game collection management)
• Not attempting to disrupt the service (spam, scraping, attacks, etc.)
• Declaring real and honest purchase prices for their items
• Not intentionally creating duplicates in the catalog
• Respecting other users within community features

5. Community Prices

Community prices displayed on Riplay are calculated from purchase prices declared by confirmed users. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute an official estimate, appraisal, or guarantee of market value.

Riplay reserves the right to exclude a declared price from community calculations if it is detected as suspect (significant deviation from the average) or clearly erroneous. The user will be informed and may contest this exclusion.

6. User Data and Content

Collection data entered by the user (games, prices, notes) belongs to them. Users may export their collection (CSV, PDF) and request account deletion at any time.

By using Riplay, users grant the publisher a non-exclusive, free license to use anonymized price data in community price calculations, including after account deletion.

Anonymization on deletion: when an account is deleted, the purchase prices declared by the user are retained in anonymized form (dissociated from any personal data) to maintain the reliability of community prices. This anonymized data can no longer be used to identify the original user.

7. Catalog Items

Users may propose new catalog items (games, consoles, accessories). These items are subject to validation by the Riplay team before being officialized. The publisher reserves the right to modify, merge, or delete any catalog item.

8. Intellectual Property

The source code, design, text, and logo of Riplay are the exclusive property of Lorenzer. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

The names, logos, images, and cover art of video games, consoles, and accessories displayed on Riplay are the property of their respective publishers and manufacturers. Their use is for informational and identification purposes only. Riplay is not affiliated with any video game publisher.

9. Limitation of Liability

The publisher makes every effort to ensure the availability and proper functioning of Riplay. However, the service is provided "as is" and the publisher cannot guarantee:

• The absence of interruptions, errors, or bugs
• Data preservation in case of technical failure
• The accuracy of community prices or catalog information

Under no circumstances shall the publisher be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

10. Suspension and Termination

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete a user's account in case of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Declaration of clearly fraudulent or abusive prices
• Harmful behavior toward the service or other users
• Attempts to circumvent security or rate limiting systems

Users may delete their account at any time by contacting the publisher at contact@riplay.app. Account deletion results in the permanent erasure of personal data and collection. Declared purchase prices are retained in anonymized form in accordance with Section 6 of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes via in-app notification. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
